THE IMPACT OF HEALTH CARE SPENDING ON ECONOMIC GROWTH: THE EXAMPLE OF ASIAN COUNTRIES
This study examines healthcare expenditure's impact on economic growth in Asian countries. The analysis covers the statistical indicators of 16 countries from to 2001-2023 using panel data. DOLS models demonstrate medical investments' positive effect on GDP with a coefficient of 6.41 and determination of 68. The results confirm that increasing medical sector funding strengthens human capital and improves labor productivity, which is especially relevant for transitional economies. This relationship is more evident in developed countries than in developing countries, offering a foundation for crafting effective healthcare strategies aimed at ensuring long-term socioeconomic stability and sustainable growth in Asian nations.
