Deformation Checks On The Shafts Of Big Band Saw Machines - Case A

In this study, deformation checks on upper shaft of big band saw machines have been made.For this purpose, the maximum deflections in the most endangered cross sections of the shaft are calculated.The biggest values are compared with the admissible values for the respective material.The normal operation of the big band saw machines is guaranteed if the actual values of the deflections are equal or less than the admissible values.The proposed solutions for the most endangered cross-section of the upper shaft allow to carry out deformation checks in the design of new band saw machines.
