A BRIDGE BETWEEN CULTURES: THE ROLE OF THE LITERATURE CLUB IN THE ADAPTATION OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
This study examined the "Adabiyat" literary club's role in international medical students' sociocultural adaptation. Creative meetings foster connections among learners, helping them overcome language barriers and develop critical thinking and emotional awareness. Interacting with world classics cultivates civic responsibility and ethics among future healthcare professionals. Club members showed improved communication skills after six months of participation. The significance of integrating the humanities into university education was highlighted. These findings confirm the effectiveness of cross-cultural initiatives in reducing academic stress and creating an inclusive environment for foreign attendees to thrive. Implementing such programs could become a cornerstone of global educational strategies.
