PENGARUH TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT MUSLIM KOTA PEKANBARU TERHADAP EKSISTENSI BAITUL MAAL WAT TAMWIL (BMT) SERTA PERILAKU MASYARAKAT SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the extent to which the Knowledge Level of the Muslim Community in Pekanbaru City, through Community Behavior, positively and significantly affects the Existence of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT). This research employs a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study consists of the Muslim Community of Pekanbaru City, with purposive sampling, a type of non-probability sampling technique, being used to select participants. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents, measured using a Likert scale, and processed with the assistance of SmartPLS 3. The data analysis techniques used in this study include respondent descriptive analysis, outer model analysis, inner model analysis, and indirect effects analysis. The results of this study indicate that each variable has a direct effect, with the Knowledge Level of the Community affecting Community Behavior by 0.824, a t-statistic of 23.542, and a P-Value < 0.05. Furthermore, the Knowledge Level of the Community affects the Existence of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) by 0.497, with a t-statistic of 4.504 and a PValue < 0.05. Additionally, Community Behavior influences the Existence of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) by 0.378, with a t-statistic of 3.146 and a P-Value < 0.05. The indirect effect of the Knowledge Level of the Community on the Existence of BMT through Community Behavior is also significant, with a value < 0.05, specifically 0.003.
