This study aims to identify the factors that affect learning difficulties among grade 11 students at SMK Syntax Business School Kuningan. The main focus of this study is to analyze the internal and external factors that contribute to learning difficulties and to evaluate the strategies implemented by teachers to address these problems. A qualitative approach was used, utilizing in-depth observations and interviews with Islamic Economics teachers. The collected data is analyzed descriptively to understand the challenges faced by students. The results show that internal factors, such as differences in cognitive ability, lack of motivation, and low discipline, are the main causes of learning difficulties. External factors, including the social environment, limited family support, and inadequate teaching methods, also contribute significantly to these difficulties. This conclusion highlights that learning difficulties are influenced by a variety of interrelated factors. Therefore, a more adaptive and inclusive teaching strategy is needed, along with increased support from families and social environments. Teachers are encouraged to continue to develop interactive and motivational approaches to increase student engagement in the learning process.
