Preparation and properties of multistimulus responsive donor-acceptor Stenhouse adducts based on polyamidoamines
Multi-stimulus response system has shown broad application prospects in drug delivery, intelligent sensing, information storage and other fields with its advantages of high flexibility, precise control, and multi-function. In this paper, a novel donor-acceptor Stenhouse adduct (DASA) compound (HMA-LD) was synthesized using hyperbranched polyamidoamines as donor and 5-(furan-2-ylmethylene)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4,6-dione (AFD) as acceptor. The fluorescence, visible light irradiation, metal ion and acid-base responsiveness were investigated. The results showed that HMA-LD has good fluorescence, and a low detection limit for Cu2+ (2.02 × 10-8 mol/L) and Fe3+ (2.02 × 10-8 mol/L) in water environment. Under visible light irradiation or acid solution, the color of HMA-LD fades quickly. With the stimulation of ethylenediamine and trifluoroacetic acid, HMA-LD could achieve multiple cycles between pink and colorless, and has good acid-base fatigue resistance. The multi-stimulus response behavior and excellent visualization ability of HMA-LD provide new possibilities for biological imaging and chemical sensor.
