Neutron multiplicity distribution in the fission of Rn and Ra

For the even nuclei of [Formula: see text]Rn and [Formula: see text]Ra, the neutron multiplicity for a single fragment as well as for both fragments is studied within the scission-point model. The calculated results are interpreted and correlated with the charge and excitation energy distributions previously obtained.
