Enhanced Grid Stability of Bi-Directional Converter in Grid to Vehicle System
The integration of Grid-to-Vehicle (G2V) and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) systems is critical for the sustainable integration of electric vehicles (EVs) with modern power grids. These systems enable bidirectional energy flow, allowing efficient EV charging in G2V mode and feeding stored energy back to the grid in V2G mode, particularly during peak demand. A bidirectional buck-boost converter regulates the voltage, ensuring safe and efficient energy transfer. G2V and V2G systems contribute to grid stability, load balancing, and optimized utilization of renewable energy sources, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and carbon emissions. Future advancements in power electronics and real-time smart grid integration will enhance their effectiveness, necessitating further research on their impact on grid stability and resilience.
