A Blockchain-Based Efficient Task Commission System

A task commissioning system describes an online marketing community that allows users to exchange favors and tasks for each other to complete in exchange for payment. Task commissioning systems are a large market on the internet, providing a sound method for user-capitalized interaction. However, these systems have several potential issues, including centralized servers (possibility of data breaches, data losses, etc.), fixed price regulations, and limits to the areas where commissions are assigned. As such, the problems that need to be solved are potential security issues, and certain limitations on existing commissioning systems. Our research aims to resolve the aforementioned issues by providing the basis for a commissioning blockchain system through the use of the Solidity language along with its corresponding React front-end implementation. Our methodology seeks to answer the question of whether this can be properly done and encompasses the use of smart contracts to provide a less restrictive domain for pricing (by unlocking the range for the price), increased transaction security (through the storage of tasks on the blockchain), and a comprehensive system capable of handling posted tasks from any topic the user wishes to create and/or assign themselves (within legal and moral limits). Through research and development of our smart contract system using the Solidity programming language for smart contracts in tandem with the ReactJS library for UI, we found that most of the aforementioned solutions to our problem can indeed be solved by our methodology.
