Analysis of flow field characteristics of leakage-lubrication-trapped oil-cooling medium in high speed magnetic gear pump

In order to explore the influence of the pressure of the magnetic gear pump on the flow field characteristics of the leak-lubrication- oil-trapped cooling working medium in the pump, the structural dimensions of the guide groove of the side plate and the guide groove of the outer ring of the sliding bearing and the flow field characteristics of the circulating flow channel of the working medium under the change of the pressure of the oil port were discussed in this paper. SolidWorks and ANSYS Workbench are used to establish a proportional three-dimensional model of internal leakage-lubrication-trapped oil-cooling medium inside the pump. Based on SIMPLC algorithm and RNG k-ε model, Fluent is used to simulate and analyze the internal flow field characteristics of the magnetic gear pump. The higher the flow rate of the inlet, the greater the pressure. When the inlet flow rate is constant, the pressure remains stable. The flow pressure of the medium from the oil pressure port to the channel decreases rapidly, and there is pressure loss. The medium trapped in the gear meshing zone has high pressure; The pressure of the oil entering the guide slot of the side plate to the bottom of the bearing and the gap presents a linear decreasing trend, and the pressure loss is greatest when it flows through the center of the pump shaft.
