Analysis Of The Impact Of Role Playing Game On The Current Generation (A Study On Students Of Islamic University Of Kalimantan Muhammmad Arsyad Al Banjari)

This study aims to explore the positive and negative impacts of playing the online Role Playing Game on students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari University, Kalimantan. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that playing Role Playing Game can influence players' attitudes, social interactions, time management, and economic aspects. While it may provide opportunities to meet friends from various countries, the game can also lead to ignorance of the surrounding environment. This study underscores the importance of a deeper understanding of the positive and negative implications of online gaming in social and technological contexts.
