Generic selective harmonic repetitive control strategy for grid-connected converters
A generic selective harmonic repetitive control (G-SHRC) is proposed as a simple and highly effective control scheme for grid-connected converters. G-SHRC can provide a general structure for various repetitive controllers, enabling parameter configuration and the implementation of comprehensive controllers in conjunction with conventional feedback controllers. A type-3 structure of SHRC (T3-SHRC) is proposed based on the SHRC transfer function to simplify the structure of G-SHRC. The performance of T3-SHRC, type-2 structure of SHRC (T2-SHRC), and conventional repetitive control (CRC) is comprehensively evaluated in terms of controller structure, storage space, steady-state response, dynamic response and design complexity. The general design method and performance analysis of G-SHRC are presented. Furthermore, different structures and parameters of G-SHRC can be selected to optimize the practical performance of the control system. An application example of the three-phase grid-connected converter under the different controllers is presented to demonstrate its effectiveness and superiority.
