Research on the construction of intelligent knowledge service platform of university library based on artificial intelligence

With the rapid popularization of artificial intelligence technology, the construction of intelligent libraries has entered a new stage. The traditional knowledge service mode of the library cannot meet the diversified and individualized needs of readers. It is urgent to transform to systematization, intelligence, and precision. The construction of an intelligent knowledge service platform based on AI technology can change the way of knowledge organization and knowledge discovery in libraries, this will create a new service scenario for the future learning center. The platform will continue to accumulate data on readers’ disciplines, course selection information, book borrowing, space reservation, and participation in activities and competitions. The behavioral characteristics of readers are analyzed, and the reader portrait model is constructed. It accurately reflects readers’ reading preferences, learning habits, research interests, and information needs. Then through the form of text, images, video, and so on, it provides intelligent, diversified, and customized knowledge services such as reference consultation, resource push, literature retrieval, and discovery to teachers and students. It helps our library to transition from traditional passive knowledge service to active and intelligent knowledge service.
