Interreligious views on reconciliation in intercultural discipleship and evangelism
The concept of reconciliation seeks to establish peaceful relationships with the divine and with others, and it is universally found across many faiths, intertwining with religious understandings and worldviews. Therefore, understanding reconciliation is essential for the church to reach out and proclaim the redemptive work of Jesus, as well as to heed the guidance of the Holy Spirit in intercultural evangelism and discipleship. This study aims to provide insight into how biblical interpretations of reconciliation are applied to intercultural evangelism and discipleship. It explores the concept of reconciliation within this context and examines diverse interreligious views on reconciliation. Additionally, it investigates how these different interpretations of reconciliation can be utilized as a means of building bridges in intercultural evangelism and discipleship.
