Near-Field, Shaping Surface Antenna Measurements With Non-Redundant Sampling Representation
A non-redundant sampling representation on any surface and a near-field far-field transformation algorithm based on plane waves are described. In view of the special shape of the vehicle, a shaping surface is proposed to achieve rapid testing in a small space. The measurement setup and measurement procedure are introduced, and the results are compared with the case of standard sampling. The number of measurement points is significantly reduced, while the change in accuracy of the transformed pattern is negligible, thus significantly reducing measurement time and computational effort.
