Empowering Local Renewable Energy Initiatives: A Cost-Effective Micro Weather Station with Cloud Connectivity and Mobile Monitoring
The increasing use of green energy requires precise weather information for effective operation of renewable energy sources. As for weather stations, they give standard meteorological information, which is not quite accurate enough for renewable energy forecasting at a specific site. This paper introduces a new microweather station system to address this issue gap by providing accurate, effective, and location-specific real-time information for estimating the potential of renewable energies. The system incorporated the application of highly innovative sensor technologies as well as an IoT system that allows for accurate tracking of small-scale weather conditions in specific areas; the adoption of cloud computing; and innovation in the use of mobile apps. The suggested solution allows stakeholders to leverage readily available information for defining energy systems development strategies, grid planning, and overall environmental responsibilities. It is obvious that localized weather data is crucial to the effective dispatch of solar, wind, and other renewable energy technologies, with relevance identified in a world that is increasingly trending towards sustainable energy solutions. The results of the live data received are then converted into graphs and line plots. Also, the real-time data is represented in the form of meters for digital values, which provides a user-friendly environment and easy representation of data. ThingSpeak allows users to monitor and analyze live data effectively, ensuring a better understanding and developing strategic planning for the local weather data.
