Eight Elements MIMO Antenna Array Design for 5G Mobile Applications
For 5G of mobile phones, the presented work provides a low mutual coupling Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) antenna system with compact size operating on (3400 - 3700) MHz. A total of 8 antenna elements makes up the suggested MIMO antenna system. The 2nd iteration of Moore curve fractal geometry is the base of the antenna design. The desired antenna diminishment is achieved using the space filling property of the Moore curve fractal geometry. By using a self-isolated approach, low mutual coupling between antennas is achieved, which is less than -13 dB. To evaluate the suggested antenna element performance, the scattering parameters, antenna efficiencies, antenna gains, and features of radiation patterns were considered. To realize MIMO performance of the suggested system, ECCs and MEGs are also analyzed. The suggested antenna system represents a serious competitor for the next generation of the 5G mobiles since it achieves needed MIMO antenna system features.
