Karakter Tokoh Utama dalam Novel “Di Bawah Umur” Karya Erisca Febriani dan Sukhdev Singh

The character of the character is a characteristic of the character in a story. In the novel, various characteristics of characters are portrayed through characters so that they can attract the reader's interest with the diversity of characters shown. The most highlighted character in a story is the main character. This research is titled Main Character in the Novel "Underage" by Erisca Febriani and Sukhdev Singh because this novel contains stories about promiscuity that are able to provide education for today's teenagers to always avoid promiscuity so as not to fall into unwanted things. In addition, the main character in this novel has many positive characters such as religious, respectful, polite, honest, and brave can be a good example for readers. Although there are also negative characters, it is necessary for the reader to avoid. This study uses a literary psychology approach with a descriptive qualitative research method. The main character characters obtained reached 18 characters, namely, religious, respectful, competitive, polite, humorous, emotional, honesty, angry, brave, friendly, caring, patient, independent, steadfast, timid, forgiving, and wise.
