Learning Motivation Counseling for Preparing for the Final Semester Exam through the School Field Introduction Program at MAN 3 Jambi City
One of the challenges faced by students at MAN 3 Kota Jambi is the lack of motivation to study among some students due to academic pressure and the absence of effective learning strategies. This community service program aims to enhance students' motivation and awareness of study preparation while providing solutions to the challenges they face through interactive approaches such as lectures, group discussions, exam simulations, and educational games. These activities are conducted as part of the School Field Introduction Program (PLP), with 10 university students serving as facilitators. The materials delivered include the importance of motivation, time management techniques, and study strategies for exam preparation. The counseling results showed a positive impact, with 75% of students reporting increased motivation and 65% starting to implement structured learning patterns. The interactive methods also made students more enthusiastic and active during the activities. Despite challenges such as time constraints and the lack of focus among some students, these issues were addressed through flexible approaches and the division of students into small groups. This program demonstrated significant results and is expected to be implemented sustainably to support students' academic readiness while involving teachers and parents in ensuring the program's future success.
