Organizational Sustainability of SMEs: Knowledge Risk Management Perspective
This study examines the impact of knowledge risk management on the organizational sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Plateau State, Nigeria. The research specifically explores how knowledge risk management influences brand reputation and awareness, ethical practices and social responsibilities, customer satisfaction and loyalty. A total of 270 questionnaires were distributed among SMEs in Jos South, with data analyzed using descriptive statistics and ANOVA for hypothesis testing. Findings indicate that knowledge risk management has a significant impact on brand reputation and awareness, enhances ethical practices and social responsibilities, and contributes to customer satisfaction and loyalty. Based on these results, the study recommends that SMEs implement effective internal control systems to enhance their sustainability. Additionally, fostering an innovation-driven approach through informal management strategies can provide SMEs with a competitive advantage.
