The aim of this research is to justify the feasibility of using electronic platforms "British Council" and "Engvid" as a means of organizing digital communication for students in foreign language classes at the university level. This article examines the concepts of "hybrid learning," "digital learning," "blended learning," and "hypertext learning," identifying their essence and defining their distinctive features for organizing digital communication of students in foreign language classes in higher education. The scientific novelty of the research lies in identifying the didactic potential of electronic platforms "British Council" and "Engvid" in the process of digital communication of university students in foreign language classes. As a result of the research, a practical option for students in non-linguistic fields of study to master the designated electronic platforms is presented, and corresponding methodological recommendations are developed for teachers on organizing such an educational format at the university.
