Thermomechanics of radiated hybrid nanofluid interacting with MHD and heating source: Significance of nanoparticles shapes

Nanoparticle's structure and thermophysical characteristics highly contributes in the heat transfer mechanism of nanofluids. Hence, the current study is conducted for thermal mechanism in ternary nanofluid by considering three types of nanoparticles (hexahedron, platelets and spherical). The significant physical aspects of solar radiations, dissipation energy, heating source, and thermo convective and slip phenomena are considered in the problem origination. Further, the (Al 2 O 3 -Cu-CuO) ternary nanoparticles with cumulative concentration ≈ 0.06 % is taken in the host fluid water. The acquired model treated via numerical means by implementing RKF45 and then the physical outcomes obtained for certain parametric ranges. It is scrutinized that the thermal conductivity improved from 100.503 % to 100.803 %, 100.217 %–100.366 % and 100.03 %–100.178 % for ternary, hybrid and common nanofluids with optimum concentration 0.06 %. Optimum movement can be achieved by setting the stretching parameter γ = 0.1 , 0.2 , 0.3 , 0.4 while nanoparticles amount from 1.0 % to 4.0 % resist it due to dominant viscosity effects. Almost, inconsequential output for strengthening the Lorentz forces is examined. Moreover, addition of dissipation energy ( E c = 0.1 , 0.3 , 0.5 , 0.7 ) and thermo convective ( B 1 = 0.1 , 0.2 , 0.3 , 0.4 ) observed excellent factors for thermal augmentation while for spherical shaped nanoparticles the thermal performance is higher than hexahedron and platelets types. Similarly, thermal radiations enhanced the model performance and stretching, magnetic number reduces the thermal transport.
