ANALYSIS OF HORTICULTURE FARMERS CREDIT PROVISION IN KEMUNGSARILOR VILLAGE, PANTI DISTRICT, JEMBER REGENCY

Credit is a crucial component for horticultural farmers because this type of farming often requires quite a large amount of capital. Horticultural farmers still face a number of challenges, one of which is limited capital, and the use of credit is an important solution to increase horticultural productivity. The research was carried out in Kemuningsarilor Village, Panti Sub-district, Jember District, East Java. The sampling method uses a non-probability sampling method, namely a saturated sampling technique, or in other words, this research is census research because all members of the population are sampled, namely a total of 50 farmers. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression on models. The types of variables in the research are independent variables including farmer experience (X1), farmer education (X2), farmer income (X3), credit interest rate (X4) and credit term (X5), while the success of providing credit (y) is a variable dependent. The research results show that farmer experience (x1), farmer income (X3), credit interest rate (X4) and credit term (X5), influence the success of providing credit (Y) while the farmer education variable (X2) has no effect on the success of providing credit (Y). Simultaneously (F test) all independent variables influence the dependent variable, meaning that simultaneously all independent variables influence the success of farming credit. The coefficient of determination test (R2) is 75.9%, which means that all independent variables are able to explain the success of farming credit by 75.9%, the rest are variables that are not included in the model, for example the socio-economic variable, namely the number of members of the farming household.
