Air cargo transport in Vietnam: Current situation and solutions TO improve transport activities

With its strategic geographical location and international trade network, Vietnam has become an important link in the regional supply chain. However, our country's aviation industry is currently facing many challenges: unsynchronized infrastructure, lack of specialized aircraft, and fierce competition from international airlines. By collecting and analyzing data from secondary sources, mainly reports and statistics from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. The article analyzed the current status of air cargo transport in Vietnam in the period 2013-2023, identifying strengths, limitations, and causes. From there, the article proposed strategic solutions such as investing in specialized fleets, upgrading airport infrastructure, establishing modern logistics centers, and expanding the international flight network. These solutions will help the Vietnamese aviation industry increase its competitiveness and meet transportation needs.
