Data were collected using the academic self-concept scale from Liu and Wang (2005) and Mhiya-18 from Octavia dkk (2021). The simple linear regression was employed as the analytical method. The results of the analysis showed that there was a positive role of academic self-concept on hardiness personality (R2=0.229, p<0.05); the higher the student's academic self-concept, the higher the hardiness personality in the student. Academic self-concept had a role of 22.9% in predicting hardiness personality while the rest was caused by other factors not examined.
