UTILIZATION OF TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING ENGLISH TO YOUNG LEARNER

Teaching English to young learner (TEYL) in this digital era is quite challenging. Teachers must adapt to their students that are called alpha generation and have characteristiis as digital native. To deal with it, the us of thecnology in TEYL cannot be omitted. This study aimed to explain how the utilitation of technology in TEYL. Phenomenological design was employed to narratively explore the teacher’s experience. The sample used is purposive sample. Data were gathered by observation, interview, and documentation. The result revealed that TEYL using tecnology can be various such as using eyecatching and interesting powerpoint using canva, various sources of teaching material, multimedia can be applied, and gamification. The use of technology heps both teacher and students in learning English. The discussion are presented in this article.
