Ultrasonic phased array detection of debonding defects of pultrusion plates of wind turbine blades
Aiming at the defect identification problem in the web bonding structure of the main girder of the new pultrusion plate wind turbine blade, the application of ultrasonic phased array detection method was studied. Firstly, based on the principle of ultrasonic phased array deflection and focusing, the acoustic field model of the linear array probe was studied. Then, combined with the physical properties of the material, the sound field simulation was carried out on the appropriate probe, and the influence of the number of excitation vibrators and the depth of focus on the sound field was analyzed, and the defect detection simulation was used to select the appropriate detection parameters. Finally, glass fiber resin matrix composite (GFRP) pultrusion plates with debonding defects were prepared, and a phased array ultrasonic testing system was built to detect them. The results show that selecting the appropriate probe parameters and focusing depth can effectively improve the detection effect of pultrusion plate bonding structural defects.
