Technical study on risk identification and safety assessment of old town gas pressure pipelines
The old town gas pipelines have already appeared various corrosion and thinning, leakage and other hidden dangers due to their long service life, meanwhile, the old towns are densely populated and densely covered with underground pipelines, which will lead to serious consequences in case of gas accidents. This paper takes a gas pipeline in Yangzhou city as an example, based on the pipeline inspection data, a section of the thinned pipeline for residual strength assessment, residual life prediction, pipeline comprehensive rating and other content. And it also carries out the reassessment of related risks, scoring corrosion damage, function and safety of equipment, and consequences of failure, to provide a reference for the inspection and assessment of old urban gas pipelines.
