Analysis of the effect of structural damage on the mechanical properties of hoisting steel derricks in a mine in Henan province
In the long-term service process, there may be a variety of structural damages such as support settlement, rod bending, rod rust, rod missing, and derrick tilt appearing on mine hoisting steel derrick due to the sun and rain, frequent lifting, atmospheric corrosion, and some other factors, causing the structure to no longer meet the requirements of safe bearing. Therefore, in order to investigate the influence of different structural damages on the mechanical properties of mine hoisting steel derrick, an in-service mine steel derrick in Henan Province is taken as the research object in this paper, and the numerical model of the structure is established based on ANSYS. The effects of different damage types on the mechanical properties of the derrick structure are quantitatively analyzed and compared by considering multiple damage conditions such as local corrosion, overall corrosion, support settlement and composite damage, and the overhaul and maintenance recommendations for the in-service derrick structure are put forward based on the results of the finite element study.
