Study of coulomb and nuclear coupling effects on CF, ICF, and TF excitation functions for 6,7Li+124Sn systems
We have analyzed the complete, incomplete and total fusion excitation functions for reactions involving [Formula: see text]Li projectiles on a [Formula: see text]Sn target at around barrier energies, by employing a semi-classical approach, with a special emphasis on the Coulomb and nuclear coupling effects. The study shows that Coulomb interaction dominates at low energies, while nuclear coupling interaction becomes more significant at higher energies. The theoretical predictions made by incorporating both Coulomb and nuclear coupling effects are found to be in very good agreement with the experimental data.
