Venta ambulante y congestión vehicular en una avenida de la ciudad de Chachapoyas, 2024

The study aimed to determine the relationship between street vending and traffic congestion on an avenue in the city of Chachapoyas, 2024. To achieve this, a quantitative, basic, and non-experimental design methodology was developed. A study was conducted with a population of 240 people and a sample of 51 citizens. It was concluded that there is a correlation between the variables (r = 0.522). Additionally, it was identified that street vending occurs at a medium level in 92.16% of cases, while traffic congestion is at a moderate level according to 56.96% of the data. Given the level of correlation and the percentages indicated, it can be interpreted that street vending is significantly contributing to traffic congestion in the studied areas.
