Media Branding: Modifying Digital Communications of IT Companies
Digital media branding is a powerful tool that can modify strategic communications. This process makes it possible to move from passive dissemination of information to active formation of brand perception and establishment of long-term relationships with the audience in a digital environment, including the formation of a cohesive and loyal community around the company. This is especially relevant for companies whose content involves the inclusion of a specific target audience in communication, such as the IT community, for example. Strategic decisions on transformation and changes in media branding are influenced by various factors: public mood, ‘consumer portrait’, a set of consumer identities, the pace of technological change and others. Taking into account these parameters and operational monitoring of their changes helps brands to form a clear vision of themselves in the eyes of their audiences. This article explores aspects reflecting the coordinated use of various media platforms in a digital environment, ways to build trust in the brand and increase its competitiveness while maintaining a sustainable and multidimensional brand image. The authors of the study offer a comprehensive approach to analysing media branding as a process of forming a holistic and effective approach to strategic communications in the modern media landscape using the example of digital podcasts as one of the branding tools IT companies.
