Path Loss Models Analysis for Tetra hertz Frequency
This study conducts an in-depth analysis of path loss models tailored for terahertz (THz) frequency applications, focusing on the Free Space, Okumura, and Hata-231 models. THz frequencies, characterized by their short wavelengths and broad bandwidth, are vital for advancing next-generation wireless communication systems. However, they are particularly susceptible to path loss challenges. The research evaluates modulation techniques including BPSK, QPSK, and 16-QAM to investigate how they affect important parameters like channel capacity, bit error rate (BER), and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), across various conditions. Key findings illustrate the influence of factors like distance, frequency, and antenna configurations on these metrics, emphasizing the trade-offs involved in optimizing THz communication networks. Furthermore, the study delves into atmospheric effects like absorption and scattering, offering valuable insights for designing resilient THz communication infrastructures.
