Research on Digital Twin-Based Assembly Workshop Modeling and Simulation Methods
Faced with the complex production demands of small-batch, multi-variety orders and variable assembly processes in assembly workshops, traditional methods relying on manual calculations can no longer meet the requirements of efficient production. Enhancing production predictability, data utilization, and real-time monitoring has become critical for the digital transformation of production lines. Based on digital twin technology, this paper proposes a data-and model-driven digital twin modeling method. By constructing a system framework composed of physical, twin, data, and service layers, real-time mapping of physical workshops and production process simulation is realized. The introduction of an event scheduling method optimizes simulation logic, enabling precise production process simulation and real-time monitoring. Finally, a digital twin production line simulation platform targeting an aerospace assembly workshop is established, validating the effectiveness of the proposed method in enhancing digital workshop simulation capabilities. This study offers valuable insights into simulation and monitoring challenges in complex production lines.
