Research on the Continuous Operation Mechanism of Medium and Long Term Electricity Trading Based on Standard Contracts

At present, China's electricity market reform has entered a deep water zone, and the electricity market system is constantly improving. As an important part of the complete electricity market system, long-term electricity trading urgently needs further refinement in terms of trading cycle, trading granularity, and other aspects. It is necessary to promote the transformation of medium and long-term electricity trading from "total electricity quantity and electricity price" trading to "segmented electricity quantity and electricity price" trading through market-oriented means, which can effectively connect with the electricity spot market. In view of this, this article proposes a monthly continuous operation mechanism based on medium and long-term electricity trading. By establishing electricity standardization contracts, energy trading and contract trading are integrated. Based on this, the securities market trading model is borrowed to construct a medium and long-term continuous rolling consolidation trading model for electricity. Finally, typical provinces were selected to verify the effectiveness of the mechanism and model proposed in this paper. It can effectively stimulate market vitality and competitiveness, laying the foundation for the orderly connection between the medium and long-term electricity market and the spot market.
