O PERFIL DA PRODUÇÃO CIENTÍFICA EM LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA SOBRE TREINADORES ESPORTIVOS

The present study aimed to map scientific production in Portuguese about sports coaches. To this end, the databases were analyzed: Scielo, Lilacs and Capes Periodical Portal, having found 130 articles published between the years 2001 and 2022. As results, the themes predominated: Perceptions and Opinions of coaches, Coaches and their Teaching and Performance Methods and Training of Coaches. The modalities with the most publications were Football, Handball, Basketball, Volleyball and Artistic Gymnastics. In relation to magazines, 80.76% of articles are found in periodicals evaluated with Qualis B1 and B2. 13 most productive researchers were identified, all of them Brazilian, who are inserted in Postgraduate Programs, with specific research lines and projects on coaches. The results point to a logic of guidance and co-authorship between the most well-established agents on the scientific campus.
