Two families of q-supercongruences modulo the fourth and fifth powers of a cyclotomic polynomial

In this paper, we establish two parametric q-supercongruences modulo the fourth and fifth powers of a cyclotomic polynomial, which unify and extend several known results. The main ingredients of the proofs are the truncated hypergeometric series transformation formulae, the creative microscoping method introduced by Guo and Zudilin in 2019, and the Chinese remainder theorem for coprime polynomials.

Abstract

In this paper, we establish two parametric q-supercongruences modulo the fourth and fifth powers of a cyclotomic polynomial, which unify and extend several known results. The main ingredients of the proofs are the truncated hypergeometric series transformation formulae, the creative microscoping method introduced by Guo and Zudilin in 2019, and the Chinese remainder theorem for coprime polynomials.
