The problem of preparing a teacher for the implementation of the humanitarian model of education

The current situation, characterized by a systemic crisis in all spheres of society, requires a person with a high level of self-awareness and a humanitarian type of thinking. In the era of artificial intelligence, humanitarian thinking is especially in demand, allowing to overcome the gap between information awareness, subject-technocratic competence of an individual and his humanitarian education, the essence of which is knowledge of oneself as a living human system. Our country today needs not just specialists, but professional creators and conscious individuals who are able to think comprehensively and creatively respond to environmental, ethical, anthropological challenges. Cultivating a "new person" with a high level of self-awareness and humanitarian thinking is possible in the context of implementing the humanitarian model of education. This model, which was developed in the methodology of humanitarian-anthropological and cognitive approaches and in the center of which is a person as a subject of thinking, relationships and activities, is aimed at developing the experience of self-knowledge in students. This experience is an experience of metacognition – knowledge of metacognitive processes related to attention, perception, imagination, thinking, and memory. A teacher who understands himself in the dynamics of self-awareness and has a good command of his own personality as an instrument of pedagogical activity is capable of implementing the humanitarian model of education. The preparation of such a teacher requires restructuring the systems of pedagogical education and advanced training of teaching staff. The article suggests ways of such restructuring related to changes in the content, forms, and technologies of training a new type of teacher. The results of work with future teachers and school teachers within the framework of the author's project "People's University of Man" and the pedagogical workshop "Master of His Life" are described.
