MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI AMODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA  MUATAN PELAJARAN IPA MATERI GAYA DAN GERAK DI KELAS IV SDN 10 DUNGALIYO

Natural Sciences (IPA) is an important subject in elementary school because it is closely related to students' daily lives. However, the learning process that is still conventional causes low student learning outcomes. At SDN 10 Dungaliyo, only 39% of fourth grade students achieved the KKM. To overcome this, the Discovery Learning learning model is used which emphasizes the active involvement of students in finding concepts. This model is expected to improve understanding and learning outcomes of science in a meaningful and enjoyable way. The Discovery Learning model is effective in improving the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 10 Dungaliyo. Learning completeness increased from 61.8% in cycle I to 85.7% in cycle II. Students are more active, dare to express their opinions, and are able to relate the material on force and motion to everyday life.
