Establishment of in vitro culture conditions and acclimatization for mass production in Persicaria chinensis (L.) H. Gross
For mass production of Persicaria chinensis, growth regulators and acclimatization soil for regenerated plants were selected. For shoot proliferation, Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with 2 mg/L of 6-benzylaminopurine was found to be the most effective, achieving a shoot induction rate of 95.8%, with an average of 3.5 shoots developed and a shoot length of 10.50 mm.The most effective medium and growth regulator for rooting was MS media with 2 mg/L of indole-3-butyric acid, resulting in a rooting rate of 100%, an average of 4.9 roots, and a root length of 75.75 mm.Horticultural substrate was found to be the most effective for ex vitro acclimatization of regenerated plants, with a seedling length of shoots of 58.42 mm and a length of roots of 190.10 mm.These results confirmed that P. chinensis can be mass propagated using in vitro culture.
