Predictive Modelling of Concrete Compressive Strength Based on Drilling Parameters
One of the major areas of concerns for engineers in the field of construction is compressive strength of concrete. The performance and durability of design wise concrete mainly depend on the strength of concrete, especially the compressive strength. Strength development of hardened cement is the main focus of this work. The review further assesses to what degree they are able to resist loads until rupture. The Drilling parameters are to play an important role for the drillers concerning the attainment of better drilling performance. Nevertheless, it stands essential to undertake further research on drilling parameter optimization. Drilling parameters provide a new non-destructive testing method that has been found to give better accuracy than the other ordinary nondestructive tests used to estimate the strength of in situ concrete through the monitored parameters. Studies show that various drilling parameters give Rotational speed, Torque, Drilling power, Rate of penetration, Weight on the drill bit, etc. However, in this study, we shall attempt to derive a fairly good formula to measure the in situ concrete strength.
