Sources of environmental hazard of agricultural structures: ways of dynamic reduction and elimination

The paper deals with the assessment of the current state of environmental safety in agriculture and ways to improve it. It is noted that agricultural production and the agro-industrial complex as a whole are the basic sphere of life in solving food security issues. Production is built taking into account the versatility of the food basket of the population, for which diverse needs are typical. Traditionally, such sub-sectors as crop production, animal husbandry, poultry farming, fruit and vegetable growing, beekeeping, etc. have been identified. It is known that production and everyday life are accompanied by waste. As the population grows, the need for food production will increase, and, consequently, waste will actively affect the environmental safety of life. In order to avoid it, efforts are being made to reduce the impact of waste on the climate. The analysis shows that the dynamics of countering the danger is insufficient. Thus, there is a need to assess the situation and develop measures to counteract the consequences. The current situation is the result of insufficient theoretical and practical developments in terms of prevention, including the assessment and nomenclature of sources of harmful emissions into the environment by agribusiness structures. The author's research has confirmed the possibility of a step-by-step solution to the problem by improving production technologies, methods and means of their implementation, reducing sources of harmful emissions through the use of innovations to reduce hazardous waste in their places of origin by recycling or transformation for secondary use or preventing spread to the environment with subsequent destruction during the production process or after its short-term termination, this is confirmed by innovative solutions. Analytical dependencies on the nomenclature of sources of hazards are given on the example of animal husbandry, their use focuses on the search and implementation of potential solutions to problems. The author's ideas in this area are based on the belief in the presence of undisclosed potential reserves in order to block the spread of harmful substances into space by their transformation or elimination at the place of origin. The scientific and pedagogical school of St. Petersburg State Agrarian University is working in this direction under the guidance of the author.
