Determination of the condition for the passage of the mass of vermicompost through the lattice surface

The paper discusses the operation of a knife when separating a part of the vermicompost from the main mass. The obtained theoretical expressions allow to calculate the pressure created by the knife when separating a part of the vermicompost from the main mass, based on its geometric dimensions, the physical and mechanical properties of the vermicompost, as well as the geometric dimensions of the sieve. The presented equations can be used in the design of a vermicompost extraction device from an incubator and devices of similar design for use in other areas of agricultural production.
