A BLOCKCHAIN-BASED GENERIC AND REUSABLE TICKET BOOKING FRAMEWORK: SCALABLE IMPLEMENTATION USING AWS CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE

The ticketing industry is plagued mainly by scalping, fraud and platform interoperability on top of its inflexibility with centralized systems.In this paper, we propose a blockchain based generic and reusable framework that is implemented on AWS cloud so that they will be scalable.The framework is built on Amazon Managed Blockchain, Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum networks, tickets are NFTs and are managed using modular smart contracts.Event driven process with AWS Lambda and API Gateway is made possible and security features such as cryptographic audit trail and anomaly detection are incorporated.Although transaction fees (fees) and cross chain interoperability bring hardship, future research will involve a hybrid models and dynamic pricing and the performance studies show excellent throughput and low latency.
