O ESTADO DA ARTE EM DISSERTAÇÕES E TESES SOBRE O ENSINO DAS LUTAS NA EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA ESCOLAR
This qualitative study aimed to understand the state of the art in dissertations and theses on the teaching of martial arts in schools and their implications for the political-pedagogical practice in Physical Education at school. Twenty-eight works were analyzed in the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations and in the CAPES Catalog of Theses and Dissertations, with a time frame from January 2015 to December 2024. The empirical material was subjected to thematic analysis. In the first theme, the main discussions involved curricular proposals for the teaching of martial arts from a traditional perspective. The second thematic category deals with martial arts in the pedagogical context in the light of educational theories. Finally, the theme that deals with the political-pedagogical practice of martial arts in Physical Education classes problematized the teaching performance with these manifestations of body culture.
