The Brain/Mind Experience of Psychosis

I have never been a strong advocate of the use of psychotropic medications in the treatment of psychosis, especially when this is the exclusive treatment. At the same time, I am aware that these medications have helped many patients during their psychotic episodes, especially on a short-term basis. What I am questioning here is the best long-term basis for the treatment of psychosis.

Abstract

I have never been a strong advocate of the use of psychotropic medications in the treatment of psychosis, especially when this is the exclusive treatment. At the same time, I am aware that these medications have helped many patients during their psychotic episodes, especially on a short-term basis. What I am questioning here is the best long-term basis for the treatment of psychosis.
