PURIFICATION OF EMULSIFIED OIL-CONTAINING WASTEWATER USING COMPOSITE MEMBRANES
In this work, biodegradable composite microfiltration and ultrafiltration membranes with a surface layer of cellulose acetate for emulsified oil-containing wastewater treatment were obtained. The results of the study established the physicochemical properties of the membranes obtained and the parameters for oil-containing wastewater treatment. The membranes are biodegradable, the biodegradation degree of the membranes obtained is 65–70 %. The membranes obtained demonstrated high performance and efficiency in oil-containing wastewater treatment, which is not inferior to the indicators of the commercial membrane of the UPM-100 brand. The retention capacity of the membrane for oil products from oil emulsion was more than 94 % with a specific productivity 334 dm3/m2hour. The results of the study confirm the effectiveness of the development of new membrane materials that can be used for effective treatment of wastewater containing oil products.
