Analisis Makna Puisi “Al-Fidaa” Karya Hassan bin Tsabit (Pendekatan Hermeneutika)

This study discusses the meaning of Hassan bin Tsabit's poem Al-Fida' using Wilhelm Dilthey's hermeneutic approach. This study aims to reveal the implied meanings contained in the poem in defense of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and to interpret the content of the poem through Dilthey's hermeneutic concept which includes Erlebnis (life experience), Ausdruck (expression), and Verstehen (understanding). The research method used is qualitative descriptive with literature study techniques. The results of the analysis show that the poem Al Fida' is a form of expression of Hassan bin Tsabit's deep faith and love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW, as well as a response to social conditions and challenges of da'wah in the early days of Islam. Through a hermeneutic approach, this poem is not only understood as a literary text, but also as a spiritual, historical, and cultural expression of the poet's experience who was directly involved in the struggle for Islamic da'wah.
