O PAPEL DAS PARCERIAS PÚBLICO-PRIVADAS NO DESENVOLVIMENTO DA INFRAESTRUTURA BRASILEIRA
Public-private partnerships (PPPs) have emerged as a solution to tackle the lack of public investment in infrastructure in Brazil. However, it is crucial that these partnerships are strategically planned to ensure that they serve the public interest. Although PPPs may, in some cases, not be the most cost-effective alternative to direct state investment, they can be justified when the efficiency and quality of project execution outweigh the additional costs. For this model to work effectively, it is essential to guarantee the transparency of processes and the proper accountability of public agents, with the aim of preserving public resources.
