Controlling Electric Switches Using IoT Devices as a Smart Switch via Android Application

The Home automation project is to make a Smart home using an application that connects another device online using another web-based application, e.g., Sinric Pro. The evolution of smart homes has spurred the demand for accessible and cus-tomizable solutions that empower individuals to create their home automation applications. This project integrates components such as a relay module and NodeMCU for seamless control of electrical devices. The app enables remote operation, allowing users to manage their smart home environment from a smartphone or tablet. In this way, the electric switches can control a variety of sensors through the IoT-based application. The proposed outcome of the Node MCU board is to work properly with the linked devices. It can be controlled through a laptop or mobile device. We aim to demonstrate the viability and educational value of MIT App Inventor in democratizing the creation of personalized home automation applications. Home automation is easy when you are working with a Node MCU microcontroller because it is easy to use and comes with a built-in Wi-Fi module. The required components are to make a portable device. These components are connected. Each component has its application, advantages and disadvantages. Home automation project provides security, accessibility and environmental monitoring. The program runs as per algorithm, which is based on C++ language, where to control the home automation project needs input such as 0 is my OFF condition and 1 is my ON condition. According to the program, the output will be given if the condition is satisfied.
